Статья посвящена анализу современного состояния и перспектив развития угледобывающей промышленности Республики Саха (Якутия). актуальность исследования обусловлена высокой зависимостью экономики региона от угледобывающей отрасли и необходимостью адаптации к новым вызовам. Цель работы заключается в выявлении проблем и возможностей угледобывающей отрасли для определения направлений развития в новых условиях. рассматривается роль угольной отрасли в экономике региона. проводится оценка ресурсной базы, объемов добычи, основных предприятий и применяемых технологий. анализируются ключевые проблемы отрасли, включая удаленность месторождений, суровые климатические условия, транспортную инфраструктуру и экологические риски. оцениваются перспективы развития угледобывающей промышленности в контексте растущего спроса на уголь на внутреннем и внешнем рынках, а также внедрения инновационных технологий и повышения экологической безопасности производства. в заключение предлагаются рекомендации по совершенствованию государственной политики в сфере угледобычи, направленные на обеспечение устойчивого развития отрасли и повышение её вклада в экономику Республики Саха (Якутия).

The article is devoted to the analysis of the current state and prospects for the development of the coal mining industry in the Sakha Republic (Yakutia). The relevance of the study is due to the high dependence of the region’s economy on the coal mining industry and the need to adapt to new challenges. The purpose of the work is to identify the problems and opportunities of the coal mining industry in order to determine the directions of development in the new conditions. The role of the coal industry in the region’s economy is considered. The assessment of the resource base, production volumes, main enterprises and applied technologies is carried out. The key problems of the industry are analyzed, including the remoteness of deposits, harsh climatic conditions, transport infrastructure and environmental risks. The prospects for the   development of the coal mining industry are assessed in the context of the growing demand for coal in the domestic and foreign markets, as well as the introduction of innovative technologies and improving the environmental safety of production. In conclusion, we offer recommendations on owl.
